Life is sometimes difficult. It can be sad, painful, confusing, and lonely. It can also be a beautiful experience. I believe every day is a gift, and a new opportunity. Gracefully navigating life is possible, and the good news is that we don't have to do it alone - many people are willing to support us on our journey - we just need to connect with them. Relationships are central to my approach to healing, finding balance, and managing our lives.
We have intimate relationships with so many things around us: people, places, and things - our homes, family, our cell phone, food, work, friends, religion/faith, nature, and maybe most importantly - the relationship we have with ourself and our mind. How can we better manage and navigate all of these relationships? It is possible - one step at a time, one day at a time, one prayer at a time, one breath at a time.
I bring years of experience working with all types of people, of all different ages, from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. My expertise encompasses trauma recovery, grief resolution, addiction treatment, relationship skills, and addressing diverse mental health presentations (ex. anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood, anger).
